The EX3 system

We also make the Easy Slider  a reasonably priced version of the Igus linear slider system in many sizes.

It all started with the improved EX1 Plate.

The plate system also works on Sony EX1R, EX3, Z1U, Z5U and Z7U's and the Canon XH and XL H cameras.

The EX1 is a great camera, but we can make it a better sturdier system.

The addition of our Stronger Plate protects the connection between the EX1 and the tripod. It keeps the screw from loosening by adding 3 more 2mm screws into the metal frame in the EX1. You simply remove 3 of the screws in the bottom of the camera, and install the longer ones we supply through the plate. We supply all the tools you need.

And the optional wing takes the added stress of wireless mics NanoFlash etc. and puts it directly into the new plate instead of adding more weight to the sinlgle 1/4" screw on the bottom of the EX1.

Now We have expanded our system to NanoFlash Arms and Shoulder Braces

Here is the EX1 System as shipped. It includes EX1 Plate, Wing, Hotshoe, Small and large Shoulder Brace. Also shown are the tools and extra screws we ship as well as velcro to attach batteries etc.

The EX3 Brace is custom brace for the EX3 camera. Shown below with Wing NanoFlash curved arm and Shoulder Brace.

The NanoFlash Arms fit on my Wing and is a great way to mount the NanoFlash, Convergent Design likes them so much they sell them. And it was their request that led me to expand the Stronger Plate system to include the EX3 and Canon cameras.

We will soon have my "Ladder Dolly system" ready as well. 

And the new "Delta Dolly" a ride on doorway dolly with 8" pneumatic tires with a small jib on board.

Got my "left eye dominant" modified shoulder mount today from Olof. It was very easy to assemble and only takes loosening 2 thumb screws to put it away in my camera bag for transport. The fit is very nice and feels comfortable -- very custom-made feel. Customer service is great and Olof will exchange info with you to make sure you are satisfied with the product he builds for you. I wanted mine set up to be able to accommodate a Lectro wireless and a Nanoflash and Olof came through with just the right solutions. I just got a couple of these from Olof for each of my EX1s. Mine are exactly as pictured above, black plate and wing with the single shoe.

First of all, Olof was very helpful in the days leading up to my order. I had a lot of questions and he always responded promptly. Once I placed the order, I had the plates in a matter of days.

First thing I noticed is that they felt super solid. They're obviously well made. All the necessary tools and screws are included and installation was a breeze.

The plates are a perfect fit and I feel good knowing I'm no longer going to be putting massive stress on the cameras' tripod connector.

I have yet to actually use them in the field but so far so good. I have a few shoots this weekend so we'll see how it goes!

Olof built pictures # 9 & 10 for me and I am very pleased with the quality and how well it functions. The stiffness of the bottom plate is a needed addition and now being able to add either the nano off the back or to the side simplifies my kit bag.

I was Olof's "beta tester" for this product, and it is terrific. I sent my camera to him so that he could attach the plate for me. My factory tripod receptacle got ripped out -- Olof repaired and made a much stronger bottom plate for a lot less than Sony would have charged to just bring it back to factory. The "wing" is very handy -- I used it last night to mount my Sound Devices preamp. In addition, as you'll see from the photos below, the threads are configured so that I can use both screws and the pin for my Sachtler wedge plate. If you're adding any weight to the EX1, such as a lens adapter or teleprompter (I had both when mine crashed), this is a must-have. Or if you're not as careful as you should be about not putting excess pressure on the factory receptacle (that's me too), ditto.

By the way, when Olof had my camera I had him also fix an issue I had with one of my XLR inputs. And he had the camera back to me in less than a week!

I first purchased the base plate and shoulder mount for my EX-1. 

Both items are precision made and quite reasonably priced. 

I then asked Olaf if he could make a bracket to attach my Noga cine arm to my fluid head. 

He produced a great bracket that is an unique, yet seemingly obvious, solution to mounting an LCD monitor  on a tripod head.

Hello Olof:

I think I had sent you an email back in early to mid-June mentioning the
slider shots I did on a docu-drama I shot in Venice, Italy. The producer
raved about them.

I have just finished editing a four minute fund raising video I produced for
the Southampton Historical Museum. I used the slider for much of that little
piece as well. The production value that the slider added to a number of
shots/sequences in immeasurable.
